Nümbrecht and the Bergisches Land region are a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. With its picturesque landscape and diverse nature, the region impresses with its gentle hills, dense forests, and idyllic river valleys.

Numerous well-marked hiking and cycling routes invite you to explore the pristine nature while enjoying breathtaking views. Particularly popular are the Bergischer Panoramasteig and the Bergischer Weg, which lead through historic villages, along streams, and through deep green forests. For cyclists, the Oberbergischer Kreis also offers an extensive network of cycling routes suitable for both leisurely tours and athletic challenges.

The combination of nature experience, relaxation, and physical activity makes Nümbrecht and the Bergisches Land an ideal destination for all those who wish to escape everyday life and experience the beauty of nature firsthand.

The Bergisches Land offers over 4,000 kilometers of marked hiking routes. Various themed hiking trails, as well as the three quality hiking trails Bergischer Weg, Bergischer Panoramasteig, and Bergische Streifzüge.

Three beautiful circular hiking trails of varying lengths start directly at our hotel:
(red) 2.7 km (observation tower, spa park)
(blue) 4.7 km (observation tower, Ölsbachtal)
(yellow) 6.2 km (observation tower, Homburg Castle)

Once or twice a year, the Bergische Wanderwochen (Bergisches Hiking Weeks) also take place here in the Bergisches Land.

Whether e-biker, road cyclist, or mountain biker, the Bergisches region offers numerous opportunities for bicycle tours. Naturally, many family-friendly routes are also available.

Nümbrecht offers themed cycling routes of varying lengths: the Bergische Bröl-Radroute (49 km), the family route (13 km), and the highland route (28 km).

Somewhat more challenging is the half-timbered route, with 8 elevation changes over a distance of 40 km.
