General
Terms and Conditions

1. Conclusion of the Contract
The contract is concluded as soon as the room(s) are ordered and confirmed or, if a confirmation is no longer possible due to time constraints, provided. This also applies to the services agreed upon under point 5. Option dates are binding for both contracting parties. The hotel reserves the right to rent the reserved rooms to other parties after the option dates have expired. When registering several people, especially groups (including seminars and conferences), the list of participants should be provided to the hotel at least 14 days before arrival in the interest of both parties. If the person placing the order is not the event organizer, both shall be liable as joint and several debtors.

2. Exclusion of Third Parties
Claims and rights arising from the agreements made with the hotel may only be transferred to third parties with the consent of the hotelier.

3. Deposit
The hotel is entitled to demand a reasonable advance payment at any time. The amount of the advance payment and the payment dates can be agreed upon in writing in the contract.

4. Arrival and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, rooms are available from 3:00 PM and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed upon, the hotel reserves the right to assign reserved rooms to others after 6:00 PM.

5. Services
The contractually agreed services are based on the description in the currently valid price list and the information in the reservation confirmation. A refund, offsetting, or credit for services ordered but not utilized is not possible. If the period between the conclusion of the contract and the provision of services exceeds four months, or if the statutory VAT rate changes, the hotel reserves the right to make corresponding price changes without prior notice.

6. Cancellation and Rebooking by the Guest/Customer
All cancellations and rebookings must be submitted in writing. Cancellation is possible up to the 15th day (for group reservations of 5 rooms or more up to the 40th day, for 45 rooms or more up to the 90th day) before arrival. No cancellation costs will be incurred by the customer. In the event of a later cancellation or non-utilization, the guest/customer is obliged to pay the hotel 80% of the room/breakfast price, or 60% for pension agreements and/or packages or arrangements, as compensation. This applies to the entire duration of the booked contract. The hotel is required in good faith to assign unused rooms to other parties if possible to avoid losses.

7. Cancellation by the Hotel
In the event that a room is not provided, the hotel is obliged to provide the guest/customer with an equivalent room in another hotel of an equivalent category. Furthermore, the hotel will cover any taxi costs incurred from the booked hotel to the replacement hotel.

8. Liability
The hotel’s contracting partners or the guest as such or as a host are fully liable to the hotelier for damage caused by themselves or their guests. Any use of the rooms provided to the guest that deviates from the agreement entitles the hotel to terminate the contractual relationship without notice, without reducing the claim to the agreed remuneration. If the hotel is prevented from fulfilling its services due to force majeure or a strike, no liability for damages can be derived from this.

9. Wake-up Calls/Mail and Shipments
The hotel will endeavor to carry out wake-up calls with the greatest care. However, claims for damages resulting from omission are excluded.

Messages, mail, and shipments intended for guests will be handled with care. The hotel will undertake the storage, delivery, and, upon request, the forwarding of the same (postage unpaid). However, liability for loss, delay, or damage is excluded.

10. Lost Property
Items left behind will only be forwarded upon request. The hotel undertakes to store items for 3 months. After this period, items with an apparent value will be handed over to the local lost property office.

11. Third-Party Services
The hotel arranges or bills for third-party services. However, the hotel is not liable for the performance of third parties.

12. Guest Invoices
Guest invoices are payable immediately in cash, net. For longer stays, all guest accounts are payable weekly.

13. Invoicing
Invoices sent based on a prior credit agreement are payable net within 14 days. Outstanding balances exceeding the payment deadline will be subject to a monthly default interest rate of 1% (for each month started). The hotel is entitled to refuse foreign currency, checks, and credit cards. A commission adjustment of 10% will be charged on out-of-pocket expenses and third-party services when settled by credit card. Vouchers from tour operators will only be accepted if a credit agreement exists with the company concerned or if a corresponding advance payment has been made. A refund for services entitled by vouchers but not utilized by the guest is not possible.

Vouchers must be presented upon arrival; otherwise, the full price must be settled in cash. Vouchers will generally not be recognized retrospectively.

14. Limitation of Validity for Promotions
Discount offers and special promotions cannot generally be combined with one another. The simultaneous application of multiple discounts or promotional rates is excluded unless a different arrangement has been expressly made. Each promotion is only valid for the specified period and for the products or services listed therein.

15. General Provisions
The right to correct errors as well as printing and calculation mistakes is reserved. The guest/customer agrees that the information provided on the registration form and statistical values of their stay will be stored by the hotel in an electronic data processing system. By making a booking, the guest/customer accepts the hotel’s General Terms and Conditions. For all disputes arising from this contract and its fulfillment, the jurisdiction of the court at the place of business is agreed upon, as far as legally permissible. The invalidity of individual provisions of the contract or these conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining agreements.

The place of performance and payment is the registered office of the hotel.
German law applies.

Miscellaneous
Should smoking occur in the rooms despite the non-smoking ban, the hotel is entitled to charge costs for cleaning and ventilation.

For seminars, conferences, congresses, banquets, balls, exhibitions, lectures, etc., the following must also be observed:
a) Any change or the final number of participants for a joint meal must be communicated to the hotel at least 10 days before the start of the event; otherwise, at least the number of covers ordered will be invoiced.
b) Bringing food and beverages requires prior approval from the hotel.
c) No liability is assumed for the loss of or damage to items or exhibits brought in. All decoration material must comply with fire safety requirements.
d) The attachment of decoration material or other objects is not permitted without the hotel’s consent. The organizer/customer is liable for damage to the hotel’s furnishings and inventory caused during setup, dismantling, or during the event, without proof of fault.
e) Disruptions to the technical or other facilities provided will be rectified immediately as far as possible. However, no reduction or withholding of payments may be made.
