Would you like to get to know Nümbrecht and the surrounding area during your stay? Then simply make use of our mobility services. This makes it easy to explore Nümbrecht’s many small, idyllic villages amid the beautiful Oberberg forest and meadow landscape by e-bike. For longer journeys within Nümbrecht or to the neighbouring town of Wiehl, the flexible public transport service monti is available. In addition, a car-sharing electric vehicle can also be booked. And by operating on 100% green electricity, you are making a climate-friendly contribution locally.

Flexible public transport service monti

Monti is a new transport service offered by Oberbergische Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH OVAG in Nümbrecht and Wiehl, which complements existing local public transport as a flexible on-demand service. “On demand” means that monti operates when requested and is available during operating hours between all designated stops, independently of fixed routes and set timetables. The monti vehicles can carry up to six passengers. You can book monti via a smartphone app or by telephone.

Car sharing Nümbrecht

CarSharing Nümbrecht is a joint project of the Municipality of Nümbrecht, GWN Gemeindewerke Nümbrecht and the citizens’ cooperative Car&RideSharing Community eG based in Overath. Two electric vehicles are available in the town centre and can be booked easily after a one-time registration via smartphone app or on a PC. The car-sharing service is one of many measures on the path towards sustainable mobility. Under the motto “Share cars instead of buying them” and thanks to electric drive, it actively promotes climate and environmental protection. And above all, it offers the opportunity to stay mobile without owning a car.
